This baby quilt skipped the pastel memo and went straight for the whole rainbow. Long solid strips in magenta, bubblegum, coral, lemon, tangerine, grass green, teal, deep pine, navy, and plum fold into giant nested chevrons, stacked like a rainbow that got pleated, with crisp white stripes keeping every color in its lane. It reads bold and modern and very, very happy. Hearts and Loops rolls over all of it: puffy hearts linked by little looped tails, with tiny hearts tucked in the curls like somebody doodled love notes in the margins. The stitching makes the solids puff up just enough to look squishy. Baby pink thread melts into the pinks, glows sweetly on the white, and turns into a fine pink sketch on the navy and pine. A rainbow that wants a hug.
