We want to make sure your quilt is ready! Make sure that your top and backing fabric don't have any major creases in them. If items are too creased or wrinkled we can iron them out for an additional charge. Things that we will need from you:
If you are local to the White Bear Lake area we can coordinate an in person meeting. In some cases, we can help with a meetup or pickup if you are unable to come to our location. Do not drop your quilt off at the address below. Give us a call to coordinate a time.
Sending your quilt can be a bit nerve-racking. We have all quilts sent to and held at our local UPS location to prevent porch pirates or inclement weather. While we can receive any carrier, we have had the best luck using UPS.
Shipping Checklist:
Here comes the fun part! Once we have your quilt, we can dive into the creative process of finalizing your pattern. This is where your vision truly comes to life. Some patterns are more suitable for specific quilt types or themes, so it's helpful to have a few ideas ready. We can collaborate on this step either in person or over a video call, ensuring that your preferences are fully incorporated. Whether you prefer traditional designs or modern motifs, we'll work together to find the perfect pattern that complements your quilt's unique character.
If you have found a pattern online that catches your eye, we can likely incorporate it into your quilt design. However, it's important to give us a call before making any purchases to ensure that the pattern is compatible. This step helps us confirm that the design will work seamlessly with the materials and techniques we use, ensuring a flawless final product.
If anything unexpected comes up as we load your quilt we will let you know. Sometimes quilts will need a bit of extra ironing or straightening. We can do this for an extra $20.
Waiting is the hardest part! We will get to your quilt ASAP. We understand the anticipation of waiting for your quilt to be completed, and we strive to deliver a masterpiece that exceeds your expectations. Our team is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship, so you can rest assured that your quilt is in expert hands.
Once your quilt is ready, we'll send you an invoice via email. You can easily pay online using a credit card, ACH (bank transfer), or Venmo. If you're picking up your quilt in person, we also accept cash.
If you are picking up your quilt, we will arrange a convenient time to meet. Our team will ensure that your quilt is ready and waiting for you, carefully packaged to preserve its quality. We understand the excitement of seeing your finished quilt, and we want to make this final step as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
If we are shipping your quilt back, rest assured it will be handled with the utmost care. We use UPS Ground and insure your package at $500 for added peace of mind. The actual shipping charges will be reflected on your invoice, and you'll receive a tracking number via email to monitor its journey back to you.
