A whole galaxy of scrappy stars is drifting across a cream sky here, and a few of them clearly got lost. A thick diagonal band of sawtooth stars and pieced strips sweeps across the middle in hot pink, mustard, rust, teal, and royal blue florals, while single stars in every size wander off on their own, some as big as a dinner plate and some no bigger than a postage stamp. The prints are sweet and busy (tiny fruits, blossoms, and hearts), and the cream background gives them plenty of room to twinkle. Breath of the Gods blows through the open space in big curling spirals and swooshes, as if a breeze keeps nudging the little stars along. Cream thread vanishes into the background and leaves only soft shadows. The comet tail of a quilt.
