Step into the trees. This shop sample is a stand of tall birch trunks, pieced in creamy speckled white with little black bark knots and peels, marching and leaning across the top like a real woods where nobody planted in straight rows. Behind them the background runs in moody horizontal bands of charcoal, chocolate brown, and warm golden ochre, the colors of a winter forest at last light, and a gray stone-print border wraps the whole scene like a low rock wall. The quilting is the Leafy Garland pattern, strands of stylized leaves (smooth curved leaf shapes linked into flowing garlands) drifting across the trunks and bands as if a breeze just let them go. Golden Rod thread is the quiet showstopper here, glowing warm against all that dark bark and stone so the leaves catch the light like they are backlit. A calm walk in the woods, stitched up tight.
